Tagged: Get Your Goals On - Only Big Dreamers Need Apply
Wendy Piersall at eMoms tagged me yesterday about what my goals and dreams were.
Coincidently, about the time that Wendy was writing here post, I was having a conversation about the same topic with my wife. She has been reading a book by Steven Scott called Mentored by a Millionaire – Master Strategies of Super Achievers.
In the book Steven Scott talks how that most people set achievable goals like “I want to make $200 a month from my affiliate sites in 2007”. The problem with this type of goal setting is that it doesn’t stretch you, or force you out your comfort zone. Instead he asks what your impossible dream is and then you translate that dream into a goal. And then you translate the goal into a series of tasks.
So with that in mind, my impossible dream is to make enough money from our product and services web sites that I can work from anywhere in the world.
In addition I want to produce a product that we can produce once, but sell to thousands of people. Aaron Wall’s conversation last week at Elite Retreat was eye opening as Aaron has been able to create a top-selling eBook that generates an income for him every day, without any additional work on Aaron’s part. I want to create a similar income stream, just not an ebook.
What are your big dream goals?

Great dreams, David! And you are so right about getting outside of our comfort zone - the stretching doesn’t exactly feel good at times, but it’s so important to our growth.
BTW, I have been cranking out work on my own eBook this week, took on a co-author for it to save time and add a valuable perspective, and also launched a PPC affiliate campaign!
It’s been great just to continue to connect with you and the others from Elite Retreat to continue the momentum. Keep up the great work!
