Social Media Optimization Blog Changes
When I first started this blog last fall social media optimization was in its infancy and this was one of the first blogs on this subject. Less than a year later, the social media space has really grown, with Digg, StumbleUpon and Del.icio.us all getting mainstream media attention.
The growth of the social media space has brought some challenges, as it is harder to keep up with all the SMO news as well as explore social media tactics to see what actually works.
So we are making a couple of changes to the blog. One is that some guest columnists will begin writing content shortly. This will help keep the blog more up to date with all the SMO news.
Second is that starting next week, we will be doing a series of guest interviews with prominent Internet marketers about social media optimization. We are really excited about some of the people who have agreed to be interviewed about social media optimization and the tactics that they are using successfully.
To keep update on everything SMO, don’t forget to subscribe to our feed!

Sweet! That’s a cool concept - nothing better than getting input from marketers one year removed from Rohit’s initial post. I know our theory on SMM has changed substantially from day one (talk about an iterative process!). I’m excited to read about the tactics these marketers are using as well as commentary from you, David.

We are adding the same thing to our blog/podcast. Guest bloggers will not only add more content without our work involved it might even draw in traffic cause of the guest bloggers name!
Same is so for interviews. We are about to interview Timothy Farriss, writer of the book, “The 4 Hour Work Week”. We expect to get traffic because of the book title and his name since the book has exploded in Amazon and the best sellers list. I love SMO!

That is great that you got Tim Ferris. I loved his book. I will have to check out your podcast with him Sterling.
