Next Monday (June 2nd) I will be talking at the Boston Internet Marketing SEO Networking Meetup about how we have used social media sites like stumbleupon, digg.com etc to create targeted links and traffic. My presentation will be followed by a round table discussion on social media.

Thanks for your digg for my make friends with worms post. I’m rather glad you did as your blog is fascinating. I started polybore as a way of practicing my writing with no thought of an audience. To my surprise I have discovered that I am more vain than I thought and my attempts to generate traffic, using digg et al, have been frenetic. Not without “reward” though with traffic getting on for 1000 over the blogs first two weeks and a job offer. How odd.
Very interesting this internet marketing business. Wish I could drop by Boston and learn more from you about social media optimisation. Unfortunately I live in the highlands of Scotland West of Aberdeen so Boston is somewhat out of my way. I will make do with reading through your blog instead. All the best for a productive event on Monday.
